  2005 (2nd) CISA Review Course

 

A ten-week CISA Review Course organized by the ISACA (Hong Kong Chapter) is scheduled to commence on 3 September 2005 for candidates who need assistance in preparing for the CISA examination. In the end of the review course, there will be a mock test and some exam tactics will be also provided.

2005 CISM Review Course 

The Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is an ISACA credential specifically geared towards experienced information security managers and those who have information security management responsibilities. While its central focus is security management, all those in the IS profession with security experience will find value in obtaining the CISM designation.

A four-session CISM Review Course organized by the ISACA (Hong Kong Chapter) is scheduled to commence on 29th October 2005. This review course is designed to assist candidates planning to sit the CISM examination held on 10th December 2005.

The course shall be 16 hours in total, including four 4-hour sessions on Saturday afternoons. This course is designed to give an overview of the exam content areas and assist you to understand the breadth and depth of the material covered on the exam. It will also provide an excellent opportunity to network and discuss security issues with other information security managers.

The seminars will explain the CISM examination process, provide guidance through sample questions and help you start preparing for the CISM exam. The sessions will include lectures and discussions with time for questions raised by the participants.

Dear Frank and Susanna,

Hope you two can still recall me, I am the only pregnant student who
attended your exam review course at May 29-30 Shenzhen. As promised, I am happy to let you know that my exam score: I got 85 and pass the exam.

2004 career seminar - Building a career path towards IT Audit and Control profession

Two presentations were tailored for CISA candidates with less than 5 years relevant IT audit and control experience. The presentations highlighted current market conditions and the importance potential employers place on the CISA qualification.


 Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

The CISA designation is awarded by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) to those individuals with an interest in information systems auditing, control and security who have met the certification requirements laid down by the Association. Specifically, these include:

  • passed the CISA exam
  • acquired the relevant information systems auditing, control or security experience
  • abided to the Code of Professional Ethics
  • continued to undertake the Continuing Education Program
