ISACA-HK is one of the supporting organizations of the E-Discovery & Digital Forensics conference. It is indisputable that many litigation cases facing companies involve some sort of digital evidence. Difficulties in discovering and identifying relevant electronic evidence increase the workload and pressure of corporate legal and IT teams. What’s more, as many of these litigation cases involve transactions and events which have taken place in more than one jurisdiction, different cross-border regulations entailed result in greater and ever changing challenges. e-Discovery and Digital Forensics, are powerful and valuable tools to discover and process electronic evidence necessary for litigation. Over 85% of all crimes committed today leave a trail of digital evidence. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly essential for practitioners in Asia to gain crucial awareness and understanding of e-discovery and digital forensics tools for litigation cases. This conference brings together a panel of leading international experts and prominent local practitioners to share their knowledge and experience on key issues concerning e-discovery and digital forensics, with special focus on the legal aspects.
