The coming CISA/CISM/CGEIT exams will be held on Saturday, 12th June 2010. Candidates may choose to sit at available exam centres. The final registration deadline of June 2009 CISA/CISM/CGEIT exams is on 7th April 2010. Topic: Information Security in 2010 – What Global Executives Expect of Information Security and What Strategies You Should Consider (Conducted in Putonghua) In this seminar, the speaker Mr. William Gee will use the results of “The Global State of Information Security 2010”, a worldwide study by PricewaterhouseCoopers, CIO Magazine and CSO Magazine, to share his insights with the audience on what global executives expect of information security in the current business environment and what strategies should be considered by information security managers to align their information security function with what their business really needs. Mr. William Gee is a Partner in the Risk and Controls Solutions Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers China and specialises in the field of risk management after being qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK in 1990. He has over 19 years experience in providing risk management assurance and advisory services to clients operating in a variety of industry sectors, including energy and mining, telecommunication, banking and finance, retail, manufacturing, transportation and the public sector. He has also led numerous engagements assisting clients in assessing their business risks and in the design and review of business processes and controls. Since 2003, William has been supporting clients in undertaking readiness projects to comply with the requirements under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). He is fully conversant with internal control and corporate governance standards and regulations. Besides, he holds a UK Practicing Certificate and is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong.
