Privacy, like security and reliability, is difficult to add on after a system is designed and implemented. To be most effective Privacy should be part of the initial design of Identity Management systems. The presentation will look at some key policy and design principles for privacy-sensitive Identity and Access Management. Ian Christofis is a thought-leader in information security, with over 25 years experience in the field. He is Managing Partner – Asia of SecureWorx Consulting which provides independent consulting to a range of clients in Hong Kong, Australia and beyond. He previously led Public Sector Identity Management consulting in Asia-Pacific for Hewlett-Packard, and was involved in ePassport implementations in a number of countries in Asia-Pacific.
