The CISA ® designation is awarded by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association ® (ISACA) to those individuals with an interest in information systems auditing, control and security who have met the certification requirements laid down by the Association. Specifically, these include:

  • passed the CISA exam
  • acquired the relevant information systems auditing, control or security experience
  • abided to the Code of Professional Ethics
  • continued to undertake the Continuing Education Program
